Mary qualified in 2007. She has a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry and has a wide range of experience in treating young children and anxious patients who she enjoys building a trusting relationship with.

In the last few years she has attended cosmetic courses in the UK and America. With her relaxed manner Mary thrives to provide comfortable high quality care for all her patients.

I qualified from Sheffield University in June 2010 and began my career working in a mixture of NHS & private practices. Many moons ago back in 2005, I qualified from Queen’s University with a degree in Biomedical Science. I also did the full-time Dental Nursing course & passed with Merit. I am an active member of the BSDHT allowing me to attend courses each year keeping me up to date with new & exciting developments within the profession

I love to travel and have been to visit cities across the globe such as New York, Sydney, Dubai etc. At the weekends I love to spend time with my husband & my little westie called Lily.

I have worked at the practice for two years, and being the youngest definitely has its advances because I think the rest of the team are jealous of my young lifestyle.

When I’m not working I can usually be found at the gym, socialising with friends and of course shopping.

I am a registered dental nurse. I started in ballyclare dental practice March 2004.

I graduated from Trinity College Dublin 1995. I joined the practice here at Ballyclare about 9 years ago.

When I’m not at work, I have a very busy family life, enjoying most of my free time with my three young children Conor, Lucie and Rosa.


Philippa Surgenor - BDSPhilippa Surgenor

I qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2001 with distinction in oral subjects. Carried out my vocational training year in Moira Dental Care and then worked for 7years in Lisburn before moving to Ballyclare Dental Practice in 2009.

I am married and have two young daughters. In my free time I enjoy walking, reading and spending time with my family in the North coast.

My name is Ciara and I am a dental hygienist, I qualified in 2010 after training at School of Dentistry.

It’s often been said I have been here since the day dot. The team are looking into it to prove it right. Since day dot I have seen huge changes in the practice.

I am married with two grown up children and I am currently doting on my young grandson.

I qualified from Edinburgh Dental School in 1993 and have worked at Ballyclare Dental Practice since 1998.

I am married and live at Killinchy. I enjoy hill walking in the Mournes, I have also done charity treks in Ireland and Peru.

Started as a dental nurse 22years ago, worked my way up the team to become Aunty J.

At home I’m about to become a proud granny. At the weekends I morph into ‘Barbara from The Good Life’ spending it with my vegetables and chickens.

I have been working in the practice with Trevor since 2002 and am a fully qualified and registered dental nurse. I enjoy all aspects of my work but especially cosmetic dentistry where I can see the patients smile transform which I find very rewarding.

I work part-time hours as outside work I am kept very busy being mummy to my two young and very active children.

I joined the practice back in 2005 working full-time. I am a registered dental nurse and work alongside various Dentists / Hygienists which keeps the job interesting.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, socialising and I love.....shopping and holidays!!

 

Michelle CrawfordMichelle Crawford

I have been a Dental Nurse for 23years. I have worked as both dental nurse and receptionist, although I enjoy the clinical side the most. I love my job and the fact that I have got to meet so many interesting people over the years.

I am the newest member of the team, although I’ve had the pleasure of working at Ballyclare Dental Practice 10 years ago and like a bad penny ‘I have came back’.
I am married and have 3 dogs who take up most of my spare time. I enjoy reading and socialising with friends when I get the chance.

I have been a fully qualified dental nurse for 20 years and work mainly with Jennifer.

I have recently been tragically widowed after 17 years of marriage, however my 'practice family' have seen me gently through this with comfort, understanding and laughter.

I have an 8 year old daughter, Rebecca, who keeps me busy when I am not at work.  So between work, hockey, swimming, Girls Brigade and sunday school, I have no time to be lonely.

I mostly work along with Pamela and am known as the live wire in the practise. I have worked at the practise for nearly ten years.
